Roxanne Lavoie
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology from Laval University in 2017 and a microprogram in Chronic Pain Assessment and Management from the University of Sherbrooke in 2019, I am driven by my passion for health, anatomy, and overall well-being. My professional philosophy is based on the strong belief that physical activity is accessible to everyone, regardless of the challenges life may bring. My expertise lies in fitness training in the context of persistent pain. My goal is to help each patient naturally integrate movement into their daily life to improve their quality of life sustainably.
What I love most is designing tailored training programs and celebrating every achievement with my patients. A particularly memorable moment for me was congratulating a client after completing her first 10 km run following a difficult rehabilitation process. This accomplishment remains an inspiring memory that continually fuels my passion for my profession. For me, physical activity is truly the best “pill” for maintaining overall health.
I practice Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, CrossFit, road cycling, and yoga. I also enjoy sharing my relaxing passion for indoor plant care with my patients, an activity that promotes relaxation and self-reconnection.
I firmly believe in teamwork and the importance of a collaborative approach in the rehabilitation process.
