Marilou Audet

Graduated with a degree in occupational therapy from Université Laval in 2018, I have always been dedicated to helping individuals achieve full autonomy and a fulfilling life. My expertise particularly focuses on post-operative care, where I apply my in-depth knowledge to effectively guide my patients through their rehabilitation. I place great importance on maintaining rigor in my work, ensuring that my patients receive top-quality care. My therapeutic approach is rooted in active listening and close collaboration with my patients, respecting their specific needs and personal goals. It is a true privilege to accompany my patients on their daily progress and witness the positive, tangible changes in their lives.

What excites me most about my work is the constant evolution within my field, enriched by new approaches and innovative methods. My role as a lecturer at Université Laval is a wonderful opportunity to share this passion, contribute to the advancement of the profession, and inspire the next generation of occupational therapists.

Outside of work, I am passionate about mountain biking, jogging, cross-country skiing, hiking, and paddleboarding. I also greatly enjoy cooking and traveling, activities that allow me to explore new cultures and maintain my positive energy.
