Marie Hélène Dufour
Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy from McGill University in 2000, I am passionate about my profession and driven by a sincere desire to help others achieve their personal and professional goals. With a strong commitment to providing high-quality care, I co-founded Dextérité in 2011, the first clinic specialized in upper limb and hand rehabilitation in Eastern Quebec.
What I particularly enjoy about my work is the ability to apply my expertise to help my patients reach their goals while building strong, trusting, and lasting relationships with them. My care philosophy is centered on active listening and teamwork, as I believe that the collaborative involvement of the patient is essential to the success of the rehabilitation process.
Outside of work, I practice mountain biking, running, and CrossFit. These activities help me maintain high energy levels, which I pass on to my patients.
I deeply believe that taking action is key to creating positive and lasting changes in one’s life. Every day, I am committed to inspiring my patients to take an active role in their own well-being.
