Alexandre Bourget
Graduated with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy from Université Laval in 2017 and an MBA from the same university in 2022, I am deeply motivated by the desire to make a positive difference in the lives of my patients. My approach is based on attentive and active listening, always striving to efficiently address the daily challenges faced by each person I work with. I have developed particular expertise in functional capacity development, workplace assessments, and the prevention of musculoskeletal injuries in the workplace.
What I love most about my profession is witnessing the success of my patients and helping them regain their autonomy and confidence in their abilities. I consider each progress, even the small ones, as a true shared victory. A memorable moment in my career was a task simulation with a Quebec Provincial Police diver: we even went to the pool to help him return to his pre-injury job, an enriching and unforgettable experience.
Passionate about sports, cooking, and outdoor activities, I regularly practice cycling, running, swimming, tennis, as well as alpine and cross-country skiing. I gladly share my passion for cooking with my patients, an activity that promotes enjoyment, creativity, and overall well-being.
The advice I regularly give to maintain health is to adopt and maintain healthy lifestyle habits, as I firmly believe that small daily choices contribute to a balanced and enriching life.
For me, giving 100% every day is essential to helping each person move toward a more fulfilling life.
