The vast majority of insurance companies cover orthotics costs. They can also be covered by RAMQ if the orthotic is prescribed by a doctor with a diagnosis and a recommendation for daily use for more than one month.

Wearing an orthosis is often an essential component in the treatment of hand, wrist, or elbow conditions. It can be used to:
